Alien

This drawing was finished a few months ago and I posted it in another blog. It was made all digitally with the Banboo Wacom graphic tablet using the Corel 12 as a software, and as technique digital airbrush. This particular one is different to the other one, I changed the Background color to green, the original one have the background and the Alien all in the same gray blue color. I believe that changing the background color give more contrast to the drawing, also it has more brightness. However, I still like more the original one because of the darkness and the mood of the drawing.

This is the process I did on this particular drawing:
 The first one is the original made on paper with pencils in my sketchbook, I took a picture of it and I went to Photoshop, Then I duplicated it several times, I changed the dimensions in order to give it the three dimensional look and some deep, then I changed the colors creating the second image. After that, I went to Skechtbook Desig software, where I payed with the symmetry creating this flower shape. Furthermore, I have several of this "flowers" which I intended to do a bigger drawing within a project I am working on.

This one started as a sketch in my sketchbook, then I add some color using water color pencils. When I was happy with the final result I took a picture and get the drawing digital, using different programs to develop the drawing; first, I used Photoshop to deleted the background and get the edges clear. Second, I took the drawing to Corel 12 to draw the red ball and the "legs" around it. Also, I retouch the eyes and mouth. After that I went back to Photoshop where I played with the colors  and made the final adjustments .
I would like to take this drawing a step further and using it for one of my animations. Furthermore. I printed the drawing in a T-shirt.

                                                                                                          

Skulltree

One of my new drawings; this drawing is a collaboration project with a photography student. The idea is to mix this drawing with a portrait picture of my face. The drawing was made digitally using a Wacom Bamboo graphic tablet and the Corel 12 as a drawing program, as a technique I used digital airbrush.
