Garuda Tibet

My last drawing Garuda; This drawing was all made in Photoshop exploring the advantages of using different brushes for shading. However the original sketch was taken in my sketchbook using B2 pencil and has a story behind; One year ago from now I went to the British  Museum to spend and evening drawing, after hanging around for a while a statue from Tibet caught my eye, I sit there quietly and draw, sometime after a small Asian old lady stood next to me and ask me what was the reason to draw this statue, She took  by surprise and I answer I did not know. She was explain to me all about the Garuda, witch is the name, and how it is used in Hinduism to get the evil away, also it is used as a house's protection  and difficulties on life. I was very surprise because at the time I was going through some difficulties in my life and many changes, also the house that I was living for ten years was about to go away.
